We continue to work behind the scenes to lay the groundwork for increasing our scaling capacity. The docs are developing. And for the curious, some notes about the term Noop.
Contents
Sleepy Services
Noop Applications that aren’t receiving traffic can be configured to “go to sleep”. We call them Sleepy Services, and the docs page is now available.
Sleepy Services are particularly useful for keeping the cost of development Environments low. Unlike typical serverless applications, requests are handled in parallel by available service instances. All of the benefits of running a traditional server without the cost of running the server when demand stops.
Desktop Enhancements
Released earlier this month, Desktop version 0.14.0, includes UX and performance improvements.
About Noop
